When you share your Payment Page link, here is the exact sequence of events for your customer:

  1. Customer opens payment page: They land on a mobile-optimized, fast-loading storefront.
  2. Customer reviews details: They can read your rich descriptions, see your cover banner, and review the terms.
  3. Customer fills checkout form: They enter their contact details and any custom fields you requested (e.g., Delivery Address or Student ID).
  4. Customer clicks Pay: The system processes their request instantly.
  5. UPI app opens automatically: The customer is directed straight into their preferred UPI app (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm) without needing to scan anything or enter VPA IDs manually on mobile.
  6. Customer completes payment: They authorize the transaction natively in their app.
  7. Customer sees success page: They are redirected back to the SMEPay success screen, or to the custom redirect URL you configured (e.g., a WhatsApp group).
  8. Merchant receives payment instantly: The funds are settled instantly into your account.
