SMEPay Wallet
The Wallet is the core operational engine of your SMEPay account.
How SMEPay Pricing Works
Unlike traditional payment gateways that deduct a percentage commission from every payment, SMEPay uses a fixed-fee wallet model.
- Customers always pay the full amount.
- Merchants receive the full payment amount through UPI.
- After a successful transaction, SMEPay deducts a fixed operational fee from your SMEPay Wallet.
| Plan | Fee per Successful Transaction |
|---|---|
| Standard | ₹5 |
| Pro | ₹3 |
Example:
- Customer pays: ₹1000
- Merchant receives: ₹1000
- SMEPay Wallet deduction: ₹5 (Standard) or ₹3 (Pro)

Available Balance
Your current available balance is displayed prominently on the green card.
- You can also see your Today's Spent amount, helping you track your daily operational costs.
- Bonus: SMEPay often provides a small bonus (like ₹10) when you first create your account so you can test out features immediately!
Adding Funds
To keep your operations running smoothly, you need to top up your wallet.
Minimum Wallet Recharge
The minimum amount that can be added to your SMEPay Wallet is ₹500.
- Enter a custom amount or select a quick-add option (e.g.,
+500,+1000). - Important Note on GST: Wallet recharges are subject to 18% GST. The dashboard will automatically calculate and display the Base Amount, the 18% GST, and the Total Amount you need to pay.
- Click Continue to complete the recharge via your preferred payment method.
Transaction History
Below the recharge section, you can view your entire Wallet Transactions history.
- Use the Credit, Debit, and Bonus filters to sort through your history.
- The Invoices tab allows you to download official tax invoices for your wallet recharges, which you can use for your business accounting and GST input tax credit (ITC) claims.
- You can also click the Export CSV button in the top right to download a spreadsheet of your transaction history.
Wallet Refund Policy
Please note that funds added to your SMEPay Wallet are intended for platform usage and operational charges.
- Wallet balances cannot be withdrawn to a bank account.
- Wallet funds remain available indefinitely for future platform usage.
